I am a 100% self professed 'Product Junkie'!!
This is just some of my collection.
Working
within this industry certainly has its rewards and for me, training and working
with new product ranges tops the list. With such a large number of companies
producing different products its hard to know what you should be using for your
skin. Iv worked with over 30 product ranges and I have a few key products from
some of these I would like to share with you.
Generally it
is recommended to run with one line of skincare as usually products from the
same range complement each other but in saying that sometimes our skin can
adjust to the same product if they are used on a continuous basis so its good
to mix it up a little.
For the last
2 years I have been using Image Skincare.
I LOVE this range.
It is genuinely
the best line I have both worked with and used on my own skin.
Image
Skincare is a Cosmeceutial (cosmetic products with biologically active ingredients that have medical or drug-like benefits) skincare range which uses the most scientifically
advanced formulas to create pharmaceutical grade skincare products.
Image
Skincare has achieved a huge success rate and there are many reasons for this.
The products are backed by the Board of Certified Plastic
Surgeons, Chemists and Dermatologists which shows the level at which these products work. Its not sold on the Internet to ensure everyone using the products does so correctly and gets the best results. All of the products are made with highly active
ingredients, antioxidants and botanicals and they contain no Parabens, Petrochemicals or
Chemical Preservatives. The fragrance is composed with 100% essential
oils. But best of all is its affordable price point!!!! The company doesn't waste money on advertising instead keeping the products at reasonable prices. They range from 30Euro cleansers to 110Euro for their most premium night cream, The Max Cream.
I have used every product in the range at different stages as my skin constantly changes and I like to keep my skin stimulated by using different ingredients.
One of my favourite products is Ageless Total Resurfacing Masque.
This product contains an exfoliating blend of Glycolic, Lactic and Salicylic acids which resurface the skin, gently removing dead cells. It also has a lightening blend which helps to diminish brown spots and pigmentation.
This is basically a home mini-peel!
After cleansing your skin apply a thin coat to the face and neck. Leave on for 5 to 30 minutes, starting at 5 minutes and gradually increase the time to 30 minutes after a couple of uses. Massage for 1 minute with damp fingers just before removing as there are tiny granules which will give a good mechanical exfoliation to the skin, then rinse with cool water. It can also be used as a blemish spot treatment overnight and is great on the backs of your hands! You can use it 1-3 times per week. It is very important to use a moisturiser with an SPF when using this mask as it does make your skin photosensitive and more prone to pigmentation when not protected.
It is great for every skin type but more sensitive skins should reduce times and frequency of use. It costs 36.50 Euro and lasts ages as such a small amount of product is needed.
A must have in my opinion!
